It features a Y-tube center column design which makes the tripod 30% more compact when compared to another similarly sized tripod without a Y-tube column. The 8x multi-layer carbon fiber tube technology increases strength and reduces weight. The graduated leg markings on the lower leg sections ensure the tripod is level when being set up. The quick easy lever (QEL) leg locking system lets you extend or shorten a leg without taking your eyes off of your subject. The leg angle adjustment locks enable you to set the tripod at three positions: high medium and low.
